DESCRIPTION

Location, location, location!! Its elevated position gives a complete 180 degree view, a bird's eye perspective of beautiful Kommetjie in all its glory. Owned by two passionate surfers, and designed by well renowned architect Roelof Uytenbogaardt, this house is so unique and super special. An extremely forward thinking design in its day, with a wooden interior and tall face brick exterior, maximising on views and light. So intricate in its design, bespoke louvres have been made to control airflow and temperature....... and the best part, this house has prime view point from which to watch the surf and sunsets in Kommetjie.

 

It has a laid back feel, with relaxed decor, a place to truly exhale and unwind, a place where one doesn't "sweat the small stuff". 

With its three bedrooms, two in the main house, the third in a separate cottage, and which the owners call 'The Library Cottage' as its overflowing with surf books, the house sleeps 6 - 7 people. There's a 'wet room', another word for their bathroom, that caters perfectly for wetsuits and surfboards, sandy feet and wet cozzies. This house couldn't be better suited to ocean, beach and outdoor enthusiasts.

Main Bedroom: King Bed extra length,  door onto outside stoep with stairs down to garden, build in cupboards

Bedroom Two:  Double bed, plus single bed, door on to outside stoep with stairs down to garden, build in cupboards

(option to swap out double bed for another 2 singles)

Shared bathroom/ wet room with shower and bath

​

Bedroom Three: In seperate cottage with double bed, very small ensuite with shower and toilet.

(option to swap out double bed for 2 singles)
